Hi, I’m Cris! Thanks for being here.
My marketing communications career started in the Philippines and grew in Singapore, where I spent a decade working in PR and integrated communications. During that time, I successfully managed APAC and US remits for brands in healthcare, tech, lifestyle, government and research, learning how to shape stories that make sense to people no matter how complex the topic or how fast things move.
After moving to Canada, I completed a graduate program in Strategic Marketing Communications at Conestoga College and was named to the President’s Honour List in February 2025. I then stepped into healthcare communications at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre, where I created written and visual content for residents, patients, families, staff and community partners. The work taught me a lot about communication that is clear, thoughtful and grounded in care.
I also volunteer as a Content Coordinator with the Canadian Pride Historical Society, contributing digital content that highlights stories from across the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Alongside strategy and storytelling, I enjoy the operational side of things – keeping projects organized, moving and supported from idea to execution. I work steadily, follow through and try to make the process as thoughtful as the final output.
No matter the project, my approach stays the same: write with intention, communicate with empathy and shape stories that help people feel informed and connected.
Outside of work, you’ll find me listening to Armchair Expert, reading long-form journalism or watching YouTube on design, fashion and personal finance. I love learning new things and bringing that curiosity into everything I do.
