Media Relations and Crisis Communications Course: Media Kit

I put together a media kit for KW Legacy to help launch their Christmas Cookie Exchange. The idea was to act as their media relations professional and create a kit that not only captured the event’s essence but also gave media outlets everything they’d need to cover the story.

I went beyond the basics and put together tailored submissions for three different media outlets—just like I would in a real-world scenario.

My instructor’s feedback confirmed I nailed it. He called it professional-quality work and praised the creativity, branding, and attention to detail. This project showed how much I enjoy making projects shine.
